Nick has over 20 years of experience in sales and use tax compliance, audit defense, indirect tax process improvements and tax engine integration with various ERP systems. His background includes time with Big 4 accounting firms in the Transaction Tax Systems Practice within the State & Local Tax Practice. Nick has also worked with an Atlanta home improvement supplies retailing company, performing audit defense, special tax projects and compliance work. He is the driver behind the technology that makes Synexus such an effective solution for businesses. Nick is responsible for project management, implementation and compliance of third-party tax tools such as CORPSales, Vertex and Thomson Reuters OneSource. He is also responsible for process reviews to determine customers’ current indirect tax landscape and ways to mitigate tax risks.
